Life jackets cover two distinct needs for boaters and riders. CGA-approved life jackets meet US Coast Guard requirements and provide the buoyancy and certification needed for legal compliance on board and for non-swimming passengers. Competition and impact vests are designed for active wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and waterskiing, with lower-profile construction that doesn't restrict movement during tricks and falls. Most boats need both types: CGA vests for passengers and impact vests for the active rider.
