BFI 1-1/8” Hull Kit(O8010-KIT):
If you’re plumbing in your own ballast system you’ll want to include a thru-hull check valve as part of it. You may be able to get away without one but for a proper ballast system where you can fill and drain from above or below the water line a check valve and venting should be used. The BFI Kit is everything you need to add one to a ballast system using standard 1-1/8” hose.
