Enjoy a worry-free day on the water by integrating the WakeMAKERS Reversible Pump Timer Module with your ballast system. Designed for effortless automation, this timer module automatically controls your ballast pump, helping prevent overrun and potential damage.
How It Works
The Timer Module operates seamlessly, letting you fill and drain ballast as usual with automatic shut-off once the set time is reached. Simply flip the switch to “Fill” or “Drain,” and the module will handle the timing for you. After an initial 2.5-second delay, the pump starts, runs for the preset time, and shuts off when complete.
Easy Installation
Setting up the Timer Module is quick and straightforward. Connect the module in-line with your existing ballast wiring harness near the pump—no splicing or complex wiring required. For systems with multiple pumps, use a timer module for each pump or zone.
Adjustable Timer Configuration
Customize the run time to meet your needs:
- Run Time Adjustment: Adjust the potentiometer to set the timer from 3 to 25 minutes. Rotate between 7 o'clock (3 minutes) and 5 o'clock (25 minutes), with 12 o'clock providing around 12.5 minutes.
- Configuration Options: Set the timer for maximum fill/drain time or a fraction of the time to partially fill or drain your ballast. Fine-tune the timing during initial setup to ensure complete filling and draining.
Compatibility & Manual Override
This Timer Module is compatible with any WakeMAKERS ballast system featuring Plug-and-Wake wiring technology. It also includes a manual override: switch to “Off” mid-cycle to stop the pump, reset the timer, and start a new cycle as needed.
Note: The indicator light on the switch will remain lit even when the pump shuts off. Always wait at least two seconds when switching between fill and drain to prevent pump damage.
